Hurricane Harvey brought a four-day deluge of rain to the region. In some areas, this ranged from 45-60 and resulted in cataclysmic flooding. As flood waters receded they left behind vast areas contaminated by toxic chemicals and sewage, which have created an acute public health risk.

The estimated cost of damages has reached around $180 billion dollars. While federal aid can help with relief efforts but there is still a long way to go. Read more: US Money Reserve | Built In Austin and US Money Reserve | Facebook
